The descents are by reversing the routes, or by abseil.<\/p><p data-start=\"237\" data-end=\"356\"><strong data-start=\"237\" data-end=\"276\">CRACK OF DHOON ~ 90&#8242; ~ V Diff ~ (T)<\/strong><br data-start=\"276\" data-end=\"279\" \/>Climb the crack and shallow corner a few feet left of the centre of the slab.<\/p><p data-start=\"358\" data-end=\"589\"><strong data-start=\"358\" data-end=\"393\">HIGH DHOON ~ 90&#8242; ~ V Diff ~ (T)<\/strong><br data-start=\"393\" data-end=\"396\" \/>From the right arete of the slab climb a flake, then move left and up a crack, finishing over a quartz bulge. A direct start up the thin slab is possible to join the crack at half height (Sev).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e480c5e e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"e480c5e\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ae9534d e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"ae9534d\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7d69bcb elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"7d69bcb\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">02<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-580c3a7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"580c3a7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Beachside Climbing Routes<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-be81f70 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"be81f70\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"630\" data-end=\"718\">To the right of Dhoon Slab a very narrow slab rises from the extreme right of the beach.<\/p><p data-start=\"720\" data-end=\"831\"><strong data-start=\"720\" data-end=\"756\">GILLETTE GII ~ 80&#8242; ~ VS 4c ~ (T)<\/strong><br data-start=\"756\" data-end=\"759\" \/>Climb the right edge of the steep slab. Poor protection, abseil descent.<\/p><p data-start=\"833\" data-end=\"962\">About 100 yards right a steep, slim buttress rises from the sea, and this can be reached at low tide to give the following route.<\/p><p data-start=\"964\" data-end=\"1222\"><strong data-start=\"964\" data-end=\"1007\">BUTTRESS SLAB DIRECT ~ 200&#8242; ~ Sev ~ (T)<\/strong><br data-start=\"1007\" data-end=\"1010\" \/>Start from a large ledge and climb a crack past a flake roof at 50&#8242;, step left at the route then trend right and up to a small stance. Finish directly above. Some minor variations on this have also been recorded.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-aa17640 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"aa17640\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4ea5ce8 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"4ea5ce8\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bd38542 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"bd38542\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">03<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b078e89 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"b078e89\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Garden Slab<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fb55453 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"fb55453\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"1249\" data-end=\"1467\">On the hillside above the seacliffs is a very obvious large area of easy angled slab, out of sight of the beach, but easily seen from the Bulgham Bay path. The slab is in two parts, with the upper large section giving:<\/p><p data-start=\"1469\" data-end=\"1834\"><strong data-start=\"1469\" data-end=\"1497\">GARDEN SLAB ~ 200&#8242; ~ Sev<\/strong><br data-start=\"1497\" data-end=\"1500\" \/>From the foot of the slab climb diagonally right to a large earthy ledge (piton belay in right wall of shallow corner). From the belay trend right and up to the top. Protection and belays are scarce. The angle of the slab is such as to provide just enough friction when dry, consequently many variations and problems could be devised.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f6efcf6 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"f6efcf6\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-521fcf7 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"521fcf7\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f09b59e elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"f09b59e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">04<\/p>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0519dd6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"0519dd6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Lower Slab Routes<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-16e2cf3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"16e2cf3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"1867\" data-end=\"1953\">Lower down to the left is another area of slabby ribs containing several large blocks.<\/p><p data-start=\"1955\" data-end=\"2178\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><strong data-start=\"1955\" data-end=\"1981\">HIGHTOP ~ 95&#8242; ~ V Diff<\/strong><br data-start=\"1981\" data-end=\"1984\" \/>Start at the left edge of the slab and climb up to a large flake edge. Surmount this and follow the edge to a grassy patch (belay).
